Ships Log: September 9th, 11th, 16th and 18th.
Some of our crew desided to head over to Andover Massachusetts to take the NRA Black Powder Certificaion class. Myself, Greylocke, Tazzy the Pansy Pirate, Sam Handwich, Anni Geturguns McDraggon, Celfig Mclden and Daithi Dubh. We spent 4 evenings listening, learning and reviewing Black Powder safety. We also learned a bit about Mass firearm laws. We all graduated with a patch and a certificate.
Our three instructor's, Bob, Jim and Doc made the class fun and highly informative. Alot of stuff we already practice, but there were a few things we can pass on to our other ship mates that do Black Powder firearms with us in our demostration to make them more safe.
We want to thank the instructors for making us feel like an big part of the class. The class was mostly designed for the mussle loading hunter. They try to keep it with traditional firearms like flintslock and caplock firearms. Todays modern hunter uses and inline rifle. As we found out traditional Black Powder firearms are becoming a dieing art. So we have desided to keep this tradition up as long as we can by bringng it to our faires and introducing everyone to the beauity and history of these fine firearms.
Once again than you Bob, Jim and Doc for making us more safe firearm owners.
Our next adventure coming up is Connecticut Renassaince Faire.

Ships Log: Saturday September 5th
This adventure takes the whole crew to opening day at King Richards located in Carver Massachusetts. Our Master Gunner Tazzy the Pansy Pirate was able to get comp tickets for a crew day at the fair.
We all met at 9:45 in the parking lot. All was met with handshakes and hugs. After getting in our best pirate garb we all gathered at the back of the line plotting our ships raid. We all gathered after the bulk of the crowd and proceeded into the gates. We stopped by and introduced our selves to good King Richard. We were a sight to behold. He was quite impressed at the size of the crew and asked us if we were up to no good mistaken us for pirates. We explained we were privateers and he then ask us if we had letter of marque.
We then did a little soul catching and proceeded to seperate. Not to hard to find our crew though our pins clearly marked us. At Lunch a few crew gathered the food court to grab some grub and a tankard of refreshment. Some of us went and saw the fire dancer and then stayed to see the Ariel Angels preform. Of course the wenches on board ship myself included wanted to shanghi the male angel. Figured he would be a good addition to the rat lines. The "Tale of the Tiger" was there displaying the largest "Liger" in the world. Their show is always ourstanding.
At 3:00 in the afernoon we all met at the Kings Stage. The preformers were the Tortuga Twins. Then we all stayed to see the Kings show "Bit Me" It was pretty funny. The music was great. We all hung arround for a bit afterward for some more souls catching and make some neat memories. At this point some of the crew began heading home. Some of us stayed out in the parking lot with our ships cook Sven and his wife Brandy Whine. Our Navigator desided to pratice his whip and caught the Firstmate Greylocke in the corner of the eye. No damage done.
The day just flew buy. But it always does when good friends and family get together.
Our next adventure will be opening day at CTRF.
